{"id":1137,"date":"2017-07-04T10:11:45","date_gmt":"2017-07-04T08:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gri.com.es\/noticia\/gri-renewable-industries-fabricara-torres-eolicas-en-argentina\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T19:41:20","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T18:41:20","slug":"gri-renewable-industries-fabricara-torres-eolicas-en-argentina-2","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/www.gri.com.es\/en\/noticia\/gri-renewable-industries-fabricara-torres-eolicas-en-argentina-2\/","title":{"rendered":"GRI Renewable Industries will manufacture wind towers in Argentina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Madrid, 4th of July, 2017.<\/strong> GRI Renewable Industries (GRI), wind industrial divisi\u00f3n of Corporaci\u00f3n Acek, has concluded a Joint Venture agreement with Metalurgia Calvi\u00f1o (CALVI\u00d1O) to initiate the manufacture of wind towers in Argentina in the second semester of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>This new GRI facility will be located in the existing industrial plants in the Industrial Center of CALVI\u00d1O in Florencio Varela, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, allowing a 300 wind towers supply per year for the Argentinian market and creating 350 highly-skilled jobs.<\/p>\n<p>GRI and CALVI\u00d1O are finalizing matters related to technical, financial and legal aspects, in order to start immediately with the industrial activity.<\/p>\n<p>According to Javier Imaz, CEO of GRI: The alliance between GRI and CALVI\u00d1O will guarantee the supply of wind towers manufactured in Argentina, with the highest international manufacturing quality standards and just-in-time delivery\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Gast\u00f3n Guarino, President of CALVI\u00d1O, added that: \u201cThis Alliance will offer the Argentinian market a solution already proven internationally in different countries. In addition, it will ensure a greater synergy between one of the World\u2019s leading Companies, as it is GRI, with a one the local pioneer Companies in this industry\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About GRI Renewable Industries<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GRI Renewable Industries (gri.leproducer.com\/) was formed in 2008 and is the industrial wind division of Corporaci\u00f3n Acek holding.
