{"id":4126,"date":"2023-11-16T10:37:31","date_gmt":"2023-11-16T09:37:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gri.com.es\/?post_type=noticia&#038;p=4126"},"modified":"2026-02-17T11:22:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T10:22:20","slug":"gri-rd-advanceint-project","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/www.gri.com.es\/en\/noticia\/gri-rd-advanceint-project\/","title":{"rendered":"GRI R&#038;D ADVANCEINT PROJECT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CDTI Innovation has accepted to grant funding to GRI R&amp;D Engineering for the development of the R&amp;D Project &#8220;New advanced solutions for internal structural elements for wind superstructures (ADVANCEINT)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the project is to develop a new generation of advanced technological solutions for the internal structural elements of state-of-the-art wind superstructures based on the introduction into the sector of new materials and joining technologies, modularisation of elements and additive manufacturing techniques, and design and assembly methodologies. To this end, different lines of research are being addressed: new materials, new manufacturing processes and new solutions for design, calculation and assembly.<\/p>\n<p>This project is co-funded by CDTI Innovation and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).<\/p>\n<p>The ADVANCEINT project successfully achieved its main objective of developing a new generation of advanced technological solutions for internal structural elements in wind superstructures. Through extensive research and experimental validation, the project identified and validated the use of isophthalic resin-based tramex panels reinforced with fiberglass as the most technically and economically viable solution. This material demonstrated excellent mechanical performance, reproducibility, and industrial scalability, making it suitable for integration into modular platform systems. The project also advanced in the digitalization of the design process by developing a software tool capable of automating structural calculations and generating technical documentation aligned with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the project validated the use of additive manufacturing for internal components, such as bushings and cable clamps, confirming their structural integrity and potential for future industrial applications. The experimental campaigns, including full-scale platform testing and pull-out tests of 3D-printed inserts, confirmed the reliability of the proposed solutions under real operating conditions.
