GRI Tower Sevilla Capacity Expansion Project

The main objective of the investment is to increase the production capacity of the GRI Towers Sevilla plant by equipping it with the necessary means to manufacture the new wind superstructures of the next generation of offshore towers with a wide load spectrum (13–14 MW), using a competitive and high-quality production process, compared to the current capacity of 6–7 MW.

The aim is to turn the GRI Towers Sevilla plant into an international benchmark in the serial manufacturing of next-generation offshore towers, pioneering in terms of competitiveness and product quality.

The project is being carried out in Seville, with a duration of 21 months (October 31, 2022 – July 31, 2025).

This project is co-financed by the European Union, with a total budget of €10,509,280.00 and a grant amount of €2,522,227.20. File SE1662-P08 under the Regional Incentives program.
