The objective of the project is the research new structural solutions, calculation methodologies, and industrial processing not used in the wind sector to obtain the structural excellence of wind towers. The introduction of these new concepts into the structural design will result in a significant improvement in the structural response, a weight reduction, and consequently, a cost of the wind towers.
CDTI Innovation has agreed to grant funding to GRI R&D Engineering S.L. for the development of the R&D Project “New solutions for the structural excellence of wind towers (NEXTWIND).
