CDTI Innovation has accepted to grant funding to GRI R&D Engineering for the development of the R&D Project “New advanced solutions for internal structural elements for wind superstructures (ADVANCEINT)”.
The main objective of the project is to develop a new generation of advanced technological solutions for the internal structural elements of state-of-the-art wind superstructures based on the introduction into the sector of new materials and joining technologies, modularisation of elements and additive manufacturing techniques, and design and assembly methodologies. To this end, different lines of research are being addressed: new materials, new manufacturing processes and new solutions for design, calculation and assembly.
The project will be carried out in Madrid, and is expected to last 28 months (September 2022 – December 2024).
This project is co-funded by CDTI Innovation and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
