Madrid, 13 May 2026 – GRI Renewable Industries, a global leader in the manufacturing of towers and flanges for the wind energy sector, presents its 2025 Sustainability Report. This report highlights the Group’s commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility within the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, the GRI Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
GRI Renewable Industries has integrated Sustainability as one of the 7 pillars of its Strategic Plan 2023/26, providing guidelines to drive the growth of industrial activity. The company works in 4 areas of action: environmental impact, labor relations and human rights, ethics, and supply chain.
In the environmental dimension, it is worth highlighting that this year 91% of GRI Renewable Industries’ plants are certified under the ISO 14001 standard. Regarding the circular economy, 13% of steel purchases come from recycled sources.
In the social dimension, more than 28,000 hours of Health and Safety training were delivered and in 2025, 91% of plants were covered by ISO 45001 certification. With respect to customers, a Customer Satisfaction Index of 92% was achieved, continuing the upward trend of recent years. In terms of community impact, at corporate level we promoted 7 community projects, with a total investment of over €446,000. The company also advanced its environmental volunteering programme, “El Bosque GRI”, which in 2025 planted 600 trees, bringing the total to more than 21,600 trees planted since 2016, capable of absorbing approximately 262 tonnes of CO₂ per year.
In the Corporate Governance dimension, transparency in Non-Financial Information is undergoing significant regulatory development worldwide. In Europe, with the entry into force of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a paradigm shift is taking place through the application of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This will require GRI to expand the scope of its reported information from 2027 onwards and to integrate sustainability analysis into the company’s strategy.
