Furthermore, we have an Intragrated Policy of compulsory compliance that covers the principles regarding the quality of our products and processes, the safety of our employees and the environmental care.

Policy Statement on Conflict Minerals


GRI Renewable Industries, in its firm commitment to end violence and human rights violations related to the exploitation of certain minerals from a location known as the “Conflict Zone”, which is located in the Eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries, has implemented a Conflict Minerals Policy in which commits to operate in compliance with the principles of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act, as well as the European Conflict Minerals Regulation.

After the approval of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on September 25, 2015, which focus on eradicating poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity for all, a new agenda for progress towards 2030 was conceived, in which companies play an essential part.

At GRI Renewable Industries we work to grow as a solid, sustainability and responsible company, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Human Rights, through a responsible consistent with our values, is essential in order to face these new global challenges.

Roadmap to a carbon neutral future


Climate change is one of the main threats that society is currently facing. Governments, companies, and the society as a whole have a key role to play in contributing to reverse global warming and meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.

For GRI Renewable Industries, being a carbon neutral company implies being part of an important commitment in the fight against climate change, assuming a series of actions that promote and help mitigate its impact.

For this reason, in 2020 the company published its “Carbon Neutral 2030/50 Plan”, which sets out a series of objectives to be carbon neutral by 2050.

To show its leadership in climate action, GRI Renewable Industries signed its commitment to the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative, thereby aligning with the Paris Agreement goal to limit global temperature increase to 1.5ºC.

Furthermore, in order to communicate and provide transparency to this commitment, since 2021 the company has been making its information and progress on climate change public through the Carbon Disclosure Project.
